Hours: Full-Time: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Salary: $36,000-$40,000 annually

Responsibilities include:
• Performs comprehensive research on community resources, events and news identified for inclusion in both the community resource database and department communications
• Completes timely and thorough data entry following style guides
• Works with program partners to conduct a comprehensive review of information to ensure consistent, timely and accurate data collection and verification.
• Provides input into a marketing/communications plan
• Works with the County Board staff and other partners to coordinate marketing efforts
• Develops networks and resources to help expand resource management and marketing efforts
• Communicates resource information using multiple mediums including website, social media, outreach events, etc.
• Coordinates social media and website updates on behalf of Community Services
• Assists with marketing of all Community Services programs
• Maintains regular attendance and punctuality

Requirements include the following experience or equivalent combination of training and experience:
• Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Sciences, Social Services, Communications, or Business Administration or related field with 1 year of experience collecting, analyzing and disseminating information in a business or social service environment

The preferred candidate will have:
• Excellent oral and written communication while maintaining proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling
• Knowledge of effective marketing principles using multiple means of communication
• Knowledge of AIRS standards
• Skills in using computer hardware and software including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, etc.
• Experience in obtaining, organizing, and communicating information or material

The preferred candidate will possess or have:
• The ability to obtain AIRS CRS-DC certification within one year of hire, and maintain this certification going forward
