Glowiak Hilton shares reopening guidelines with local businesses

WESTERN SPRINGS – State Senator Suzy Glowiak Hilton (D-Western Springs) is highlighting the new employee safety measures for businesses that will reopen under the modified Stay at Home Order.
“Protecting the health of employees and customers is paramount as we begin to reopen the economy,” Glowiak Hilton said. “These guidelines clearly lay out what steps employers should take to keep everyone safe and healthy.”
As businesses begin to reopen they will be required to provide face masks for employees who are unable to adhere to social distancing requirements. Other safety measures include occupancy limits and changing shifts so that social distancing guidelines are being followed. Glowiak Hilton: Alzheimer’s Association is here to help

WESTERN SPRINGS – To support residents with Alzheimer’s or dementia and their families, State Senator Suzy Glowiak Hilton (D-Western Springs) highlighted resources available from the Alzheimer’s Association.
“No one should face Alzheimer’s alone,” Glowiak Hilton said. “The Alzheimer’s Association is here to help families and caregivers during these unprecedented times.”
In addition to their standard help and support resources, the Alzheimer’s Association has published COVID-19 guidelines for families and caregivers of adults with Alzheimer’s or dementia. All resources can be found online at www.alz.org. Residents are also encouraged to call their 24-hour helpline at 800-272-3900.

Senator Glowiak Hilton working to connect residents with pandemic resources

WESTERN SPRINGS – State Senator Suzy Glowiak Hilton (D-Western Springs) again urged residents to take advantage of assistance from her office to help connect with pandemic response resources during the Stay at Home Order.
“My most important job right now is to connect residents with the resources that can help them navigate this crisis,” Glowiak Hilton said. “My office is working to address any questions and concerns our community has.”
Senator Glowiak Hilton’s district office is adhering to the Stay at Home Order, and all staff are working remotely. However, phone calls are forwarded and emails are still being answered.

Glowiak Hilton, local businesses help keep first responders healthy during pandemic

WESTERN SPRINGS – State Senator Suzy Glowiak Hilton (D-Western Springs) coordinated equipment sanitizer donations to local police and fire departments throughout the 24th Senate District last week.
“Every day our first responders put their lives on the line to keep us safe,” Glowiak Hilton said. “During this pandemic they face new challenges so we need to do all we can to make sure they remain safe and healthy.”
PathoSans Technologies, a cleaning products supplier in Glendale Heights, pledged to donate up to 5,000 gallons per day of its sanitizer and disinfectant to the state. Over 400 gallons of sanitizer were distributed throughout the 24th Senate District.
“During this state of emergency, a shortage of effective sanitizers and disinfectants quickly became a significant issue,” said Dr. William J. Kohley, President of PathoSans Technologies. “Our ECA systems are designed to supply high volumes of environmentally responsible cleaners and sanitizers. They are manufactured right here in IL; by redirecting production to address local supply chain shortages, we knew we could help immediately.”
Stevenson Crane Service of Bolingbrook assisted Senator Glowiak Hilton’s office with deliveries.
